In order to maintain the continuity of success in development activities, the non-governmental development organization New Era Foundation organized the annual staff appraisal meeting. In anticipation of the new year, this day-long event was held on Saturday, January 4, at the Charmirkamari branch premises of the organization. The meeting was presided over by the organization’s president, Fauzia Manjur. The meeting, which was filled with greetings and discussions, was attended by officers and employees of 20 branches including the head office and the Enrich branch in a lively atmosphere. Memories of direct experience and honor At the beginning of the program, the organization’s CEO Shafiqul Islam, Director Mostaq Ahmed Kiran, Deputy Director BM Fahim Rahman exchanged greetings with everyone present. After this, the discussion phase began, where the officers spoke about their achievements, challenges and future plans. At this time, the speakers remembered the founder late Manjur Rahman Biswas with deep respect. A minute of silence was observed and special prayers were offered for the forgiveness of his soul. Maulana Hafez Saiful Islam conducted the prayer. Chief guest Shafiqul Islam spoke about the future plans of the organization in his speech and gave necessary directions for the development of the employees. M Fahim Rahman and Assistant Director Shamsher Ali, Chief Accountant Kamal Parvez, Zonal Manager Golam Area Manager, Branch Manager and heads of various departments also spoke with him. 28 officers were awarded for their special achievements in the workplace in the past one year. The award ceremony was attended by the organization’s Vice President, Freedom fighter Matiur Rahman, female entrepreneur Nasrin Akhter Shelly, organization’s treasurer Rokeya Sultana and executive member Mominul Islam. The entire program was skillfully organized by Sadia Parveen and Trina Kanchan Lopa of the head office.
